HP has made changes to its leading channel partners programmes, to give its networking partners better revenue opportunities and increased competitiveness.

Under the changes, partners that were previously categorized as Preferred Partners for HP's networking channel in EMEA, have now transitioned to the HP PartnerONE programme. The changes are intended to give partners better access to programme discounts, growth accelerators and rebates,

The company has streamlined the various specializations in the former Preferred Partner programme, and introduced three new networking certifications instead.

The new certifications include the Registered Networking Specialization, for SMB-focused partners; the Professional Networking Specialization for wired and wireless infrastructure specialists; and the Advanced Networking Specialization, for delivery of advanced networking and data centre solutions, typically for enterprise deployments.

"HP offers a fantastic range of opportunities for its partners, across the entire IT converged infrastructure portfolio. Access to HP education and training programs, the Network Design Centre, and many other partner incentives, makes doing business with HP partners easier and more profitable," said Ayman Dwidar Enterprise Storage, Servers and Networking Channel Manager , HP Middle East.
