ITS wins TechAccess’ Mercedes Promotion 2011
Kuwait-based systems integrator outshines rivals to scoop grand prize
Following a year long promotion, which was intended to raise awareness of Tech Access as an Oracle value added distributor (VAD), the company has revealed that Kuwait-based system integrator, International Turnkey Systems (ITS) is the winner of its Mercedes Promotion 2011.
The promotion was the first of its kind and focused on developing and incentivising TechAccess' partner community in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.
The distributor ran the promotion for its channel partners in the MENA geography and offered them a chance to win a Mercedes Benz C Class Sedan.
According to TechAccess, the promotion was also intended to enable partners to gain incremental business. TechAccess has a long established record as a VAD for Sun Microsystems, which was acquired by Oracle in 2010.
Remarking on ITS' achievement, Shomail Ghalib, president and CEO at TechAccess thanked the company and reiterated the importance of the excellent relationship that it enjoys with the Kuwait-based system integrator.
Chris Corneliues, vice president, Sales and Support at TechAccess said: "ITS' accomplishment reflects our commitment and legacy of being a VAD champion in the MENA region."

Al Amiri said ITS has been working with Tech Access for over a decade and the company will continue to grow its business with the distributor for the long term.
The partner promotion formed an integral part of Tech Access's business strategy for 2011 when it became an Oracle VAD in the MENA market. TechAccess offers a complete Sun-Oracle solution stack that cover both hardware and software components such as Middleware, Database, Operating Systems, Virtual Machines, Servers and Storage in one box.
TechAccess has stated that it aims to continue developing its partner base and plans to offer similar promotions in the future.
