Black Hat Abu Dhabi Briefing Sessions open Black Hat Briefing Sessions were opened today in Abu Dhabi by Mohamed Nasser Al Ghanim, director general of the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA).

Black Hat Abu Dhabi's Briefing sessions were opened today by Mohamed Nasser Al Ghanim, director general of the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA).

Black Hat Abu Dhabi concluded its training sessions on Tuesday with the briefings running over the next two days at the Emirates Palace. 

General Michael Hayden, United States Air Force (USAF), Retired, former director of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and deputy director of the National Security Agency (NSA) will be providing the keynote speech at the briefing sessions.

The sessions are designed to offer an opportunity for industry experts to share their experience and knowledge with other professionals. 

"The aim is to educate professionals in the IT industry and to develop the security infrastructure to keep abreast of worldwide best practice in combating these issues. We are presenting the world's best speakers to do this," said Al Ghanim.

The TRA represented by the UAE Computer Emergency Response Team (aeCERT), in cooperation with Khalifa University of Science, Technology and Research (KUSTAR) have partnered with UBM Middle East for the second year in a row.

Black Hat Abu Dhabi runs from 12th to 15th December 2011 in Emirates Palace.
