Naseba will give Saudi CIOs a platform to learn new strategies and gain greater understanding of the cloud, at its 2nd Annual CIO Strategies Saudi Arabia Forum.

The two day event, which takes place in Riydah on 21-22nd November, aims to encourage knowledge sharing around strategies for CIOs, and also includes a dedicated Kingdom Cloud Computing day, to highlight cloud computing technologies.

According to research by HP and Coleman Research Group, 85% of Saudi Arabian organisations intend to adopt cloud technologies in 2012, and cloud is being promoted as a solution to help organisations to easily modernise legacy applications.

The event is support by ISACA Riyadh, the local chapter of ISACA, a global association for IT and information systems professionals, and also includes participation from Hitachi Data Systems, ZTE, enStratus and Sybase.

"Businesses across the globe are shifting their technological focus to cloud computing. By organising the 2nd Annual CIO Strategies Saudi Arabia Forum - with a day dedicated to the cloud - we are ensuring that the Saudi Arabian ICT sector keeps pace with global standards," explained Managing Director of naseba, Nicholas Watson.
