Microsoft Gulf, in partnership with Prototype, an online marketing, web development and mobile solution strategy agency in the UAE, has released free customer-built applications designed to benefit Windows phone users on Windows Marketplace.

The new applications include the Time Out Dubai Restaurant application with Time Out reviews, search, and an ‘inspire me' screen to show restaurants for randomly selected criteria, as well as the Aramex Application which is designed to allow users to track and engage with the courier process so they can keep track of their shipments.

Also included in the new applications is the mParc application, which is designed to allow users  to automate data-entry for Dubai's paid parking locations. mParc is currently native only to Mango phone software.

Microsoft is also working on a number of additional applications to support Windows Phone users in their day-to-day life.
