D-Link, a major provider of networking products for the consumer and business sectors, is keen to demonstrate its latest products to existing and new customers at this year’s GITEX TECHNOLOGY WEEK.

The company, which started operations in 1986, has more than 50 distributors in the Middle East and North Africa region, but remains hungry for further growth.

With key consumer products such as high definition media routers, including devices bundled with popular Boxee software, D-Link is optimistic about growing its presence further in the region.

Indeed, D-Link is poised to expand its warehouse in Jebel Ali, Dubai, to meet the rising demand.

“The Middle East has been good,” says Sakkeer Hussain, Sales & Marketing Manager, D-Link. “We have a facility in Jebel Ali and an office. We are trying to expand the warehouse for another 12,000 sq ft and we are doing a major investment which will be operational by the end of this year. We are expanding and we  are doing good business,” he adds.

Sakkeer says that the facility in Jebel Ali is a key differentiator between D-Link and its rivals. “This is one of the major differences compared with the other networking vendors operating out of the Middle East,” Hussain adds.
