Cabling specialist Reichle & De-Massari (R&M) is looking to save space in its customers’ data centres with a range of innovative solutions it is showcasing at GITEX TECHNOLOGY WEEK.

The company, based in Switzerland, develops and manufactures passive cabling technology for communication networks. At this year’s GITEX event, R&M is emphasizing the capabilities of its 48 port 1U High Density patch panel and raised floor box for data centres, in addition to its Single Circuit Management products. The company says that these solutions can help customers make better use of space in their data centres.

“Space-saving is a hot topic, and high density is the mega-trend. Production space in data centres is at a premium,” comments Shibu Abdul Vahid, Head of Technical Operations, Middle East and Africa, R&M.

R&M hopes to use GITEX to cement relationships with customers old and new, as well as develop others. “R&M covers the entire Middle East and Africa region with support from local offices in Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Egypt, as well as the company’s regional headquarters in the UAE,” says Jean-Pierre Labry, Managing Director, Middle East & Africa, R&M. “R&M has deep seated expertise and project success stories in a wide range of industry verticals.”
