Huawei inks training deal
Etisalat Academy, the largest single-source provider of training and development solutions in the Middle East, has introduced at GITEX TECHNOLOGY WEEK the first certified LTE program in the Middle East, in partnership with Chinese telecom vendor Huawei.

Etisalat Academy, the largest single-source provider of training and development solutions in the Middle East, has introduced at GITEX TECHNOLOGY WEEK the first certified LTE program in the Middle East, in partnership with Chinese telecom vendor Huawei.
The program is aimed at developing a community of highly skilled and certified professionals who have a comprehensive understanding of LTE pertaining to commercialisation, operation and maintenance, planning and optimisation.
David Brennan, General Manager of Etisalat Academy, says that the LTE certification program will ensure that industry professionals have access to the right knowledge and skills to embrace and leverage LTE 4G technology.
The program will provide Etisalat, Etisalat Group and other operators in the region, with the business, strategic and technical understanding of the challenges faced in the technical and product areas of LTE.
Etisalat Academy’s training delivery ranges from classroom- based lectures, to eLearning modules and practical sessions.
The program is based on Huawei’s platform.
