Danish Interpretation Systems (DIS) has received an order exceeding US$1 million for the prestigious King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences (KSAUHS) in Saudi Arabia, it has announced.

The Scandinavian conference manufacturing company, which is owned by Shure, will deliver DCS 6000 equipment consisting of almost 90 control units, more than 1,000 DC 6120P conference units, IR transmitters, radiators and 700 pieces of DR 6008 receivers to be installed in four locations in the Kingdom.

“We’ve been working on this project for years now and are very happy that we could finally close this deal,” says Chris Hellmuth, Area Sales Manager.

DIS is currently exhibiting at InfoComm Middle East, where it is showcasing a range of new products including the CP 7851 microphone and camera control package, which is iPad compatible and allows microphone control of the DCS 6000 system, camera control and offers video pictures of the last delegate to speak.
