McAfee is providing its solution provider partners with an opportunity to receive training that will help them to win new business in the region.
The new initiatives come less than a month after the vendor revealed that it was boosting partner margins by a whopping 25% on new registered deals. The channel enablement programme is one of the few bold initiatives that McAfee has unveiled since coming under the umbrella of $44 billion parent company Intel. McAfee senior vice president, Worldwide Channels, Alex Thurber says following the recent unveiling and launch of the deal registration programme, the company is using GITEX TECHNOLOGY WEEK to promote its training programmes. Thurber says McAfee has decided to support partners in the region with an initiative that will accord them a chance to get trained, certified and go out into the market to win new deals. Thurber says enablement programme is also aimed at preparing partners for McAfee’s soon to be released new products under Intel’s Deep Safe vision which will embed security into hardware.
