WiFi specialist Ruckus Wireless is promoting its innovative wireless solutions at GITEX TECHNOLOGY WEEK.

And with demand for wireless data surging, the company, which is exhibiting at GITEX for the third time, hopes that it will meet potential new partners and customers during the event.

“GITEX is a key vehicle to address certain markets. This year we are looking to target enterprise partners and also security partners,” says Graham B. Owen, Regional Sales Director Middle East, Ruckus Wireless.

Ruckus Wireless produces WiFi equipment that offers significant improvements on standard designs. While most WiFi technology uses omni-directional or multiple antennas, Ruckus Wireless uses a more efficient and higher quality design.

“We bring a unique spin on WiFi to the market, from our antenna systems to our Beam Flex technology,” says Owen.

“We use antenna systems that are more focused, with 19 antennas within one unit. We can take 512 users now on an AP. We have got 4000 RF antenna patterns coming out of this, so we can manage high density environments very well.”

Ruckus Wireless technology is suitable for various types of use, but key customers include five star hotel groups that are eagre to offer their guests high quality WiFi, to CCTV solutions and wireless offloading.

Ruckus Wireless has already been experiencing rapid growth in the Middle East region, and hopes that its appearance at this year’s GITEX will help to further strengthen its presence in this region.
