Mindware signs as Nuance partner
Regional distributor Mindware has been appointed as a regional distributor for Nuance Communications, a global provider of speech and document imaging solutions.
Regional distributor Mindware has been appointed as a regional distributor for Nuance Communications, a global provider of speech and document imaging solutions. The move is part of a stated plan by the vendor to grow its footprint and re-launch its brand in the Middle East market.
The deal will see Mindware supply the Middle East channel with the entire range of Nuance Communications desktop products that include Dragon Dictate, PDF Converter, OmniPage and PaperPort.
Nuance Communications, which is exhibiting at GITEX Technology Week in partnership with its regional distribution partner Mindware, produces a range of solutions from speech technologies that help companies to offer superior customer service experiences, to healthcare solutions that help physicians focus on patient care instead of documentation, to imaging technologies that convert physical documents into searchable digital files. The vendor’s speech solutions allow the most human, natural, intuitive ways to use voice to take command of information, ceaselessly perfecting the ability for machines to recognise and emulate the human voice.
Mindware will be Nuance’s third distributor for the region as the vendor already works with SquareOne Technologies and Arab Canadian Computer Company (ACCC).
Anil Kumar, Regional Director, Nuance Middle East and Balkans, said the company is delighted to have partnered with Mindware as they have the knowledge and reach that Nuance needs to raise its brand in the Middle East region. “This partnership with Mindware is a natural fit for us as Mindware has a strong software portfolio which will complement our offerings. This deal opens a new window for Nuance to address the corporate sector with the entire range of the desktop array of products,” he said.
