Jumbo Electronics, the UAE-based consumer electronics giant, has said that it is diversifying its business strategy to provide enterprise solutions to customers in the Middle East region.

The move to focus on the enterprise segment comes in the wake of Jumbo Enterprise, the enterprise arm of Jumbo Electronics recently partnering with Epicor as its value-added reseller (VAR) for the UAE market.

The company says that having established itself as a leading consumer electronics distributor in the UAE, the growth of Jumbo-EAJ reflects its strategy of expanding beyond its retail and consumer business.

Deepak Khetrapal, CEO, Jumbo Electronics said: “GITEX Shopper and GITEX Technology Week are extremely important events for us because the two platforms give us the opportunity to connect with different customers.”

Khetrapal added that the company is excited about Jumbo’s participation at GITEX this year. “Currently, non-retail segments account for three quarters of Jumbo’s overall business in the region.”

Jumbo-EAJ provides design, building, network consulting and innovative IT hardware and software solutions across various industries, including hospitality, retail, education and healthcare.
