Establishing fruitful business relationships with new partners in the region is on the books for Experts Computer at GITEX Technology Week this year.

The company is already well established in its vendor and customer relationships and believes in getting the right product at the right time, for the right price. Experts Computer says that this effort has resulted in having an ability to export leading branded computers, servers, notebooks and projectors from market leading firms such as Toshiba, Dell, HP-Compaq, Sony, Canon and Sharp.

The company has been a part of GITEX since 1996 and firmly believes in the relevance of the exhibition to its operations in the Middle East.

“We have been exhibiting in GITEX since 1996 and we have watched it grow to become one of the world’s top three technology exhibitions. We have had a long and successful history with GITEX which we have cherished over the years. It has enabled major business development for us, as it provides us with the ultimate one stop shop environment whereby we get to meet new customers and talk to our existing partners from different regions,” explains Shailendra Rughwani, Managing Director at Experts Computer.

Rughwani is also President of the Dubai Computer Group (DCG) which was founded in August 2007. The DCG, which is also a part of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry, was founded to represent the interests of the computer industry in Dubai. The group now represents over 200 companies comprising IT distributors, resellers, system integrators as well as software and networking companies.

The group recently said that it is considering adopting a ‘cash-on-delivery’ policy as part of its efforts to clean up the distribution channel in Dubai.

Earlier in the year, Experts Computer launched a new range of security products under the Cametron brand. The range comprises biometric products, IP/CCTV cameras and DVR products, in the Middle East, Africa and Asian Sub Continent. The company also sells products under its in-house ePro brand.
