Big turn out for Oracle Oracle will be offering insight into its complete technology line up and capabilities, says Al Thehaiban.

Oracle is expecting over ten thousand visitors to visit OracleWorld at GITEX Technology Week this year to get insight into Oracle applications, technology and hardware.

The company is demonstrating its full range of solutions, including hardware, software and services, with in depth examples of vertical and industry focused solutions, and how Oracle can deliver the complete stack of offerings.

Marking its 21st consecutive year of participation at GITEX, Oracle’s presence at the exhibition includes live demonstrations of the latest Oracle solutions, free consultancy sessions with Oracle specialists, and a strong lineup of software development partners.

Abdul Rahman Al Thehaiban, Vice President, Oracle Middle East & Africa, says: “The Middle East is a key market for Oracle; hence the importance of GITEX which offers an ideal platform for Oracle to showcase the breadth and depth of its technology solutions, underline its market leadership and renew its commitment to current and potential customers in the region.”

Oracle is once again the largest exhibitor at GITEX, with its exhibition grounds playing host to over 40 partner workstations, a partner VIP lounge, an Oracle-On-Oracle  business pavilion, a VIP Majlis reserved for top customers, and exclusive 1:1 customer briefing rooms.

Visitors can also utilise an online GITEX virtual briefing centre to arrange meeting with Oracle and browse the solutions on offer.

The company is also presenting a unique series of events designed for c-level executives, named ‘The C-Level Journey’, which comprises a host of activities that enable executives to gain exclusive insights from Oracle’s worldwide executives and solutions experts and stay ahead of the technology curve.

Among the Oracle solutions on show are Oracle’s database line up, which includes the Oracle Database, the open source MySQL and InnoDB transactional storage engine for the MySQL; Oracle Fusion Middleware; Oracle Applications, which are in use with over 65,000 customers worldwide; the full range of Sun server hardware; Sun storage systems including complete information management systems; Oracle solutions tailored for specific industries; and Oracle Technology solutions including Exadata database machine, Exalogic elastic cloud, along with solutions for business intelligence, data warehousing, SOA, content management, and database security.

Oracle is also showcasing its investment in the Java platform, the foundation for Oracle Fusion Middleware products and Oracle’s next- generation enterprise application, and its full complement of services offerings.
