The Dubai Technology and Media Free Zone Authority (DTMFZA) today launched its revamped website at www.dtmfza.gov.ae.

"DTMFZA commends the Department of Economic Development in Dubai for its recent initiative to create a single web portal to deal with investors. This move will enhance the investment environment and competitiveness of the emirate. The redesigned website for Dubai Technology and Media Free Zone underlines the same objective. Through implementing practical initiatives that reach out directly to companies and investors, we are working towards securing increased foreign direct investments. We also hope the regulatory information published on the website will serve to increase transparency and raise awareness among our stakeholders," said Ahmed Bin Byat, director general, Dubai Technology and Media Free Zone Authority.

The new site is designed to be easier to use and features a new interface.  The website now provides information on setting up and operating a business in Dubai Technology and Media Free Zone, as well as the laws and regulations that apply in the free zone.

Forms for registration and licensing services, zoning processes and procedures can also now be downloaded from the website. The website is currently offered in English, with plans underway for the launch of an Arabic version.

Over 4,000 licensees are currently registered by Dubai Technology and Media Free Zone with 53,000 workers employed in the nine business parks.
