LG Electronics has unveiled its second generation slim, lightweight P430 and P530 laptops in the UAE.

The laptops, now available in selected retailers across the UAE, feature LED LCD displays that are 47% slimmer than competing laptops, their bezels are also 44% thinner, and their bodies are 22% slimmer.

This means that the P430 laptop weighs 1.94 kilograms, while the P530 is 2.24 kilograms.

Both laptops feature a premium metallic design and come with a choice of brushed aluminum or diamond cut finishes. The metal cover is forged using LG's Insert Mold Technology (IMR), which is designed to prevent scratches and fingerprints.

The P430 and P530 also have DLNA (Digital Living Network Alliance), Wi-Di (Wireless Display) and Wi Fi capabilities.

"Whether for business or pleasure, having a super slim and stylish laptop that is easy to carry helps the user feel more professional and confident, knowing that they are at the cutting edge of technology," said Thomas Eom, LG Egypt managing director.
