A mobile phone designed for visually impaired consumers will be one of the many products that will be visible at Intex Technologies’ stand at GITEX TECHNOLOGY WEEK this year.

“Intex has lined up a pretty handsome number of products to be launched at GITEX this year, which includes tablets and Android smartphones, as well as three and four SIM mobile handsets. We also plan to launch mobile phones for the visually
impaired. These phones have already been launched in India,” explains Jiji Kumar, Marketing Manager, Intex Technologies FZCO.

The company has its sights set on working closer with its distribution and dealer networks and is keen on building and developing markets for its mobile phones outside of the UAE.

Intex says it is currently investing resources into infrastructure development, enhancing its distribution network and in brand building exercises in the GCC region.
The company manufactures and distributes IT hardware, mobile phones and other types of electronics. Headquartered in India and founded 15 years ago, Intex has grown to manufacture and distribute its products to more than 63 countries with Dubai serving as the major hub for South East Asia, GCC & Middle East, Africa, Latin America, East Europe, Baltic countries, CIS regions, South Africa and Nigeria.

“Our company portfolio covers 28 product groups spread across 350 items under nine categories, which are mobile phones, lifestyles products, computer accessories, peripherals, speakers, laptop accessories, power products, networking hardware and cables,” concludes Kumar.
