Each netbook here has a unique colour but the Mini 210-3020se blows them all away with its turquoise finish.
Thanks to the HP's interesting colour it was the center of attention wherever we took it; everyone wanted to take a closer look at it.
Weighing 1.364kg the Mini 210 is one of the slightly heavier netbooks on test here however, it's far from too heavy to travel with. With a battery time of four hours and 47 minutes the HP outlasted the Acer, Packard Bell and Lenovo machines too, which makes it a solid travel companion.
Coming to performance the Mini 210-3020se impressed us yet again. Running our intensive PCMark Vantage suite on the machine it returned benchmark numbers of 1,876, 513, 735, 2,384, 1,607, 1,736, and 3,227 in the PCMark, Memories, Gaming, Music, Communication and Productivity tests. With these scores the HP outran many of the other netbooks. This is impressive when you consider that most of the netbooks sport the same core components.
The HP Mini is also a pleasant machine to work with on a daily basis thanks to its textured and responsive trackpad, solid keyboard and vibrant LCD screen. The latter also boasts incredibly wide viewing angles; brightness and contrast loss aren't an issue even when looking at the screen from an extreme 90-degrees angle.
