Aptec Holdings will be making its 31st appearance at GITEX Technology Week, to showcase the benefits of contemporary business solutions to customers.

The value-added distributor is one of very few companies that has participated in every GITEX event since it began, and this year it will be focusing on IT business solutions and what these can offer to the industry.

The company also plans to announce new products during the show, and to show the strength of its regional network, which reaches 20 countries around the region, to potential new  vendor partners.

"GITEX is an excellent platform that allows a regional distribution house like ours to showcase some of the latest technological offerings from our vendors as well as network with our partners from across the region. It also allows potential vendor partners the opportunity to meet our teams from our other offices in the region. This helps them to understand new markets and discuss opportunities in these markets," says Dr Ali Baghdadi, CEO and President.

"As a Middle East-based distributor, this is our market, and visibility at GITEX is a key factor for our continued success in the region. It gives us the opportunity to share our successes with our partners, both vendors and resellers, and discuss new ways to expand this success with new partnerships. GITEX was always a platform for us to meet new vendors and reseller partners and we hope this year will not be an exception," Baghdadi adds.

Aptec will also be promoting its newly launched reseller enablement and loyalty programmes for partners, including the Datacenter Partner Alliance programme, which helps educate and train resellers in the data centre solutions of Cisco, VMWare, NetApp and APC, along with its Track Oracle EXtra programme, Dell Storage programme and others.

The company also marked a first in the Middle East market, as the first distributor in the region to launch a long-term environmental sustainability plan, which will focus on support for environmental initiatives, drives to decrease its own environmental impact, and promoting eco-friendly solutions to its reseller network.
