McAfee helps keep systems safe and sound McAfee will be demonstrating its capabilities in information and network security at this year’s Gitex Technology Week.

McAfee will demonstrate its capabilities in information and network security at this year's Gitex Technology Week. Exhibiting as part of the Cyber Security section of the show, the company will showcase a range of solutions, including WaveSecure, McAfee Anti-Theft and McAfee Identity Protection.

The company will also be part of the Gitex Cloud Confex, where it will highlight its software as a service offerings for e-mail, endpoint and web protection; and vulnerability management. "We aim at connecting with all our customers - home users, businesses and governments  - and hope to answer all their information security concerns," says Hamed Diab, regional director, McAfee. "Our MENA region team and top McAfee global executives will be present throughout the exhibition, which reiterates the importance of this region to McAfee."

The company's products cover both the consumer and business segments. In the consumer category, it offers products such as McAfee Total Protection, McAfee Family Protection and McAfee WaveSecure for mobile device protection.

In the business space, the company specialises in threat visibility and anti-malware protection. Its offerings include McAfee Total Protection for Endpoint (Enterprise Edition), McAfee Network Security Platform and McAfee Enterprise Mobility Management.

Cyber Security @ Gitex is an edutainment feature aimed at providing corporates and individuals with the information, awareness and tools they need to combat cybercrime. It is officially endorsed by the TRA and supported by aeCERT.
