Westcon Middle East, a value add distributor (VAD) of convergence, infrastructure, mobility and security products and solutions covering the Middle East and North Africa region, has moved to a new office and warehousing facility in Dubai's Jebel Ali Free Zone.

The distributor says the move has been necessitated by the fact that it has been growing its business in the region and needed a bigger facility to house its more than 120 workforce. The 890 square-metres office will accommodate Westcon's entire sales, operations, finance and marketing teams into one place.

Steve Lockie, managing director, Westcon Group Middle East said: "Westcon has out-grown its current office premises and has decided to move to a larger purpose built facility in Jebel Al Free Zone to serve its solution provider and vendor partners better."

Lockie said the change in location will help Westcon to enhance the one-stop-shop concept on all the vendor portfolio offerings the company supplies to its channel community in the Middle East region. "With the relocation to a large facility, we look forward to hosting our channel and vendor partners adding value to their businesses by leveraging value exploration, creation, delivery and communication," he said.

Westcon has stated that its telephone and fax numbers remain the same. More information can be found at www.westconme.com
