Mo'men Group rolls out Oracle E-Business The Oracle E-Business Suite will give Mo'men Group better insight into its financial processes.

Mo'men Group, a leading food processing company in Egypt, has rolled out Oracle E-Business suite to improve processes across all of its operations.

The company, which has a diverse portfolio of fast food chains and restaurants, has deployed the solutions to give it better controls and visibility into processes.

Sixteen Oracle E-Business Suite modules were selected by the group including Oracle Financials, Oracle Inventory, Oracle Warehouse Management for Oracle Inventory Management. The new systems were integrated at Mo'men subsidiaries first, before a second phase implementation at the group level. The system now provides integration of all transactional and vertical solutions enterprise wide, including point of sale and integration with banking systems.

The new system replaces a diverse, disparate range of existing applications, that were in place as a each subsidiary was responsible for implementing its solutions.

Oracle partner CITE, provided a range of services for the project, including planning, support through the implementation phase, and training and knowledge transfer for Mo-men's IT department and staff.

"The CITE/ Mo'men Group team successfully found the proper solution for automating all inter-company and intra-company transactions between the group subsidiaries, which encompass five companies, 43 fast food stores, 18 pizza stores and 3 dining restaurants. The Oracle solution has helped top management track day-to-day transactions and take immediate corrective action whenever needed," said Ayman El Serougy, chief financial officer, Mo'men Group.
