Panasonic launches Lumix DMC-GF3 The Panasonic Lumix DMC GF3 is the company's lightest interchangeable lens camera.

Panasonic has launched its smallest and lightest digital interchangeable lens camera with a built-in flash, the Lumix DMC-GF3, in the Middle East.

The DMC-GF3 weighs 222g and boasts high image quality with the enhanced Venus Engine FHD and a 12.1-megapixel Live MOS sensor.

"Professional photographers and average user alike will appreciate the DMC-GF3, which comes armed with an array of features that make taking pictures and recording videos easy and fun," said Hitesh Ojha, senior manager, Sales and Marketing - AV Categories, Panasonic Marketing Middle East FZE.

The new Lumix features touch-controlled shooting modes and high shutter speeds.

The DMC-GF3 records 1920 x 1080 full-HD video in AVCHD format and its advanced auto-focus (AF) system is designed to feature full-time AF and tracking AF in video recording mode.

The camera comes in a variety of colours, including black, white, red, brown and pink.

The Lumix DMC-GF3 is designed to be used with any interchangeable lens that complies with the Four Thirds System.
