Sony Corporation is planning to reshuffle the management of its video games unit following the massive hacks that affected over 70 million users and forced it to shut down the PlayStation Network for a month, according to Reuters.

Sony's second in command, Kazuo Hirai, who also currently serves as the president and group CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment Inc (SCEI), will become chairman of the unit.

Long-time Sony employee Andrew House will take over as the unit's new president and group CEO from September 1, the company told Reuters.

The current SCEI Chairman Akira Sato will retire on 31st August.
