Saudi studio announces new game Saudi Arabian-based games studio Semaphore has announced the release of a new game called Unearthed: Trail of Ibn Battuta.

Saudi Arabian based games studio, Semaphore has announced a new browser-based social game called Unearthed: Trail of Ibn Buttuta.

Unearthed is due to be released on Mac, PC, Android, iDevice and PlayStation this season, although no exact release date is given.

The game sees treasure-hunter Faris Jawad travelling though Morocco, Syria, Egypt and the UAE in the footsteps of famous 12th century explorer Ibn Battuta. Jawad faces a militia army leader, a weapons dealer and a wealthy antiques dealer on his travels.

The game features a multi-player component and is available on Facebook and is due on MySpace and other social networking sites soon.
