Active PR launches entrepreneurship competition Active PR has launched a competition for entrepreneurs.

Active Public Relations & Marketing Communications Consultancy (Active PR) has begun a social media campaign for entrepreneur's called Entrepreneur's Loudspeaker.

The competition calls for start-ups to submit a two minute video in either English or Arabic explaining why they think their start-up business deserves to be recognised across the region as a viable proposition and why it is attractive to their target audiences or prospective customers.

"What is great about this competition is that the winner will not only reap the rewards of receiving best practice PR exposure, but also have the spotlight cast on their business and offering to potential customers across key target markets in the region," said Sawsan Ghanem, managing partner Active PR. "The social media vehicle adds the latest PR phenomenon to this regional competition and as is exciting for us as it is for the participants and we are keen to evaluate and experience how it evolves and develops. It all goes back to the creativity and the vision of the owners of the start-ups taking part."

The competition is also intended to double as a forum where audiences from around the Middle East region will eventually be able to comment, discuss and eventually vote on the semi-finalists' winning video pitches.

The winning entry, will earn three months of PR support worth over $20,000.
