Redington Value to distribute Tripp Lite Redington will help Tripp Lite to meet growing demand for data centres in the region, says Sharma.

Tripp Lite has signed Redington Gulf as a distributor for the Middle East and Africa.

Redington Value, the value-add arm of Redington, will carry the full range of Tripp Lite power protection and data centre systems for the region.

"Data centres are now established as a critical part of IT development in the region and have become a key component in attracting local and global investment from the IP, telecoms, hosting, integrator, BPO and IT outsourcing sectors. Our strategic new partnership with Redington Value ably positions Tripp Lite as a key provider of integrated solutions in today's data centre installations," said Vipin Sharma, vice president, Middle East, Africa and CIS Sales, Tripp Lite.

Tripp Lite offers a range of power protection and other solutions for data centres, including UPS systems, UPS batteries, PDUs, KVMs, cables, power inverters, racks and surge suppressors.
