EES is supporting Sharjah e-Government  to meet its aims of extending its projects to more government departments, and improving oversight of projects

Sharjah e-government wanted to extend its Enterprise Project Management Solution to Government Departments in Sharjah, enabling them to manage and track their projects centrally. The organisation also wanted to automate reports regarding project progress using information available in the system, to help project staff and managers to better coordinate and manage projects, to respond quickly to organizational needs and optimize the realization of value from IT investments.

EES proposed a solution of upgrading to Microsoft Project Server 2010 to enhance its internal documentation, project management and control capabilities. Based on the new system, Sharjah e-Government will be able to manage its entire Portfolio Lifecycle, Optimize & Select Portfolio, Ease reporting and organizational management, manage and organize task management and reduce significant efforts to develop custom reports.

The solution also provides users with a centralized database to coordinate projects and facilitates better project coordination

EPM's tight integration capabilities with SharePoint, project related collaboration, task tracking and project documents are also being managed centrally. The centralized system is further supported by the implementation of centralized backup services.
