IT industry education association BICSI has appointed UAE-based e-sharp FZCO as an authorized trainer for its Registered Information Technology Professional (RITP) credential.

The RITP course, BICSI's newest credential, is designed for individuals who work in the IT industry but do not design or implement IT systems such as instructors, educators, management and sales personnel.

e-sharp which provides software development, training and consultancy, is also a BICSI Authorized Design Training Provider (ADTP), offering training in technical areas including design, integration and implementation of telecommunications and data technology systems and their related infrastructure.

"We have noticed a ground swell of interest in the RITP and Installation programs," said Kandasamy Ganesan, general manager at e-sharp FZCO. "We are excited to be filling a need by teaching this curriculum at our facility."

"We are pleased to see the growth of global interest in the BICSI training and credentials programs," said Mark Coppa, BICSI's vice president of Professional Development. "The RITP provides a new level recognition for ITS professionals. We look forward to expanding the scope of our partnership with e-sharp FZCO as they continue to increase their presence in the industry."

In addition to the RITP, e-sharp has two trainers that are authorized to teach BICSI's ITP110: Analyzing Telecommunications Distribution Systems and ITP200: Telecommunications Distribution Review courses, and the company is also working toward becoming an Authorized Training Facility (ATF), to deliver BICSI's ITS Cabling Installation Programme.
