WinSoft International has signed EMPA Middle East as a regional distributor.

Under the deal, EMPA will distribute Winsoft's range of design and publishing software solutions, targeted at business and home users.

Hadi Shaheen, WinSoft International's regional manager for the Middle East said: "As we are focusing on consolidating our distribution strategy and harmonizing our ME retail channel with the new range of software from Serif it is imperative that we choose a regional distributor with a proven track record. We are excited to welcome EMPA to our distributor network and we look forward to growing the market with them and offering users complex-free and affordable creative products."

Winsoft specializes in providing local language versions of its software portfolio. EMPA will distribute WinSoft International's Arabic language versions its desktop publishing application PagePlus X5 by Serif, and will also look to introduce WebPlus web site design application and PhotoPlus photo editing system, which are due for Middle East release in the near future.
