Security distribution specialist ComGuard has picked up two partner awards from Kaspersky Lab.

The distributor picked up the award for ‘Best Project of the Year: Best Government Deal' at the Kaspersky Emerging Markets Partner Conference, held in South Africa.

The award was presented to ComGuard for its high standards in proof of concept, project planning, implementation and technical support.

ComGuard also won an individual award, for Amir Mohsen Abedinifar, product manager, who was awarded with a ‘Best Kaspersky Lab Champion Award'. Abedinifar was one of only four recipients of the award from among 140 contestants from Kaspersky's emerging market.

Mohammad Mobasseri, senior vice president, ComGuard, said: "We are honoured to receive these awards from Kaspersky Lab as recognition of our tireless efforts to expand our channel base and break into newer accounts. ComGuard has over the years have invested in training, accreditation, sales support and marketing and we will continue to invest in areas where we can add value to our customers."

ComGuard has previously several awards from Kaspersky, including ‘Best Overall Performance 2008 Award', Enterprise Project of the year 2009 Award' and Partner Excellence of the Year 2009 Award.
