Axiom to stock BlackBerry PlayBook

Axiom Telecom will be carrying the BlackBerry PlayBook tablet from Research in Motion in stores from 12th June.

Customers are invited to go and test the tablet in select Axiom Telecom stores, including Deira City Centre, Mall of the Emirates and Abu Dhabi Mall.

"We have a strong partnership with RIM in the region and today we are bringing yet another exciting BlackBerry product to our UAE consumers. The tablet segment is of strategic importance to Axiom, it is a very strong product segment for us in the UAE .We are also very excited to bring the ‘touch, feel, learn and play' concept to our BlackBerry customers for the first time. This approach of enabling customers to experience a product before the actual launch has received positive feedback from the market," said Faisal Al Bannai, CEO of Axiom Telecom.

The PlayBook, with built-in Wi-Fi will be available in 16 GB for AED2,099, 32 GB for AED2,699 and the 64 GB models for AED3,099

Customers can pre-order the tablet in Axiom Telecom stores.
