Panasonic's new Lumix DMC-TZ20 camera has a built-in GPS function featuring information on approximately one million global landmarks, and enhanced search speeds designed to accelerate geo-tagging.

The geo-tagged images can be pinpointed on social media internet maps, which can be shared with your friends and families and the geo-tagging information can include the country, region, state, city and landmark information.

The camera also has the ability to record in full HD video.

"The TZ20 is designed to capture holiday photos and videos with ease. The camera comes with an array of functions and features like, GPS, motion Blur, and full HD movie recording and high speed burst shooting. This camera is a must for anyone looking to holiday this summer," said Hitesh Ojha, Hitesh Ojha, senior manager, Sales and Marketing - AV Categories, Panasonic Marketing Middle East.

The TZ20 has a 14.1-MP MOS sensor and an advanced image processor, the Venus Engine FHD, designed to have high speed, high sensitivity image recording abilities for 1,920 x 1,080 full-HD movie recording and high speed burst shooting in high quality.

The Lumix DMC-TZ20 features a 3.0-inch Smart Touch Intelligent LCD, which allows the user to modify settings such as Touch AF, Touch Zoom or Touch Shutter during recording and playback functions.

The Intelligent Auto mode has been improved on this Lumix model, according to Panasonic, offering more correction effects in movie recording and now Active Mode has been added to the conventional Power Optical Image Stabiliser.

The camera's Intelligent Handheld Nightshot mode is also new and is designed to help ensure night scenes are captured with clarity and with the correct illumination by multiple layering of images shot consecutively.

The Intelligent Burst Shooting mode is designed to automatically set the frame rate of burst shooting according to the subject's movement using the Intelligent ISO Control.

The newly added Lumix Image Uploader is designed to allow image sharing via social media such as Facebook, for photo uploads, or YouTube for video uploads via a PC.

The Lumix camera has a 24mm Ultra Wide-Angle Leica DC Lens with 16x Optical Zoom.
