EHS and Philips Healthcare recently conducted a week-long intensive Biomedical Engineering Training for their customers in the region, to help keep them current with the latest healthcare technology and its importance and application in the relevant field.

The training, for customers including  SEHA, the Ministry of Health, and private sector customers,  was intended to provide biomedical engineers and technicians with the knowledge and skills to maintain the medical equipment used for clinical services in their hospitals.

The training covered the topics including medical equipment management principles, and theoretical and practical aspects of medical equipment maintenance. Product and application specialists from Philips Training Centre were flown in specifically for this purpose, and the training week also allowed the participants to share their knowledge of biomedical sciences, and to network with peers from the industry.
