Adobe has announced the appointment of Ashraf Jarad as channel account manager for the Middle East and North Africa.

Jarad will be responsible for sales and channel management for Adobe, and for developing reseller programs and building Adobe's channel network in the region, with a particular focus on Saudi Arabia. He joins the company from Microsoft, and has held roles with IT companies here and in the US for the past 16 years.

"With the growing demand for business and creative software in this region, we need to be confident that the right channels are in place to make Adobe software and support accessible to everyone who can benefit from its functionality. We are very excited about Ashraf joining the Adobe family and look forward to him growing Adobe's channel for distribution in the MENA region," said Abdallah Saqqa, general manager, Adobe Systems MENA.
