FVC launches Cheer MENA partner program The Cheer program is intended to encourage partners to sell new technologies, says Parmar.

FVC has announced a new partner program for its Middle East and North Africa channel.

The FVC Cheer partner program is intended to drive demand for emerging technologies, and help partners to leverage opportunities around them, the distributor says.

Cheer, which stands for Channel Enablement, Empowerment and Rewards, will enable partners to capitalize on opportunities from new technologies. The program will focus on demand creation with enterprise end users, tools and education for partners to differentiate themselves for competitive advantage, and ensure profitability and good margins for partners.

Dharmendra Parmar, GM Marketing at FVC said: "Emerging technologies like cloud computing, unified communications, threat management, network optimisation can be an important differentiator in businesses today. The market for advanced technologies in the region has never been greater than today. Cheer is designed to maximize joint business opportunities by teaming up with us and our vendors. We have designed the programme to enable, empower and reward our partners for investing in and exploring new market segments, creating new revenue streams."

The program will include three partner levels, Mega, Giga and Tera. Mega partners, the basic level, will just have access to the FVC portfolio, with pricing and product information. Giga partners will have priority access to FVC's channel and partner sales resources, and will receive support for marketing and business planning; while Tera level partners will get priority access to its partner sales and pre-sales resources, access to demos and Not-For-Resale appliances, joint marketing activities, rebates and other business and investment support.

"Depending on the level of partnership, our partners will receive commercial support and project protection," added Parmar. "This includes joint customer visits, commercial briefings, newsletters, pre-sales support and presentations. We also provide lead generation, demos, POCs/evaluations and access to FVC's partner portal."
