Consumer electronics company ViewSonic Corp, has revealed its new Dual-SIM Android Froyo Smartphone, V350 at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. The smartphone is designed for users to access both their business and personal lives through one device.

The V350 Smartphone has a 3.5-inch display and is an active Dual-SIM device, , allowing users to use two networks at the same time.

Its Dual-SIM capability means that users can keep their business contacts and information and personal information separate with different numbers and different bills for each SIM.

The dual-SIM feature is also designed for use by business travellers, who can access information at home while using a SIM card from the country they are visiting, thereby limiting roaming costs. The V350 runs on Android 2.2, with a HVGA capacitive touch screen, 5-megapixel auto-focus camera, Micro-SD expansion, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1 and assisted GPS navigation.

"Our V350 Smartphone is one of the most functional Dual-SIM phones on the market. With Android GMS for access to more than 200,000 Google applications, it has powerful multimedia capabilities and with both SIM cards active, you can place and receive calls on each at any time. The Dual-SIM proposition is compelling and will generate considerable market uptake this year." said Junaid Gul, country manager, ViewSonic Middle East.

ViewSonic also launched revealed its ViewPad 10PRO 10-inch tablet device and its Android Gingerbread based 4.1-inch Smartphone ViewPad 4.

The ViewPad 4 is designed to offer both phone and tablet functionality in a flash 10.1 enabled Android-based 4.1-inch WVGA touch capacitive device. The phone is based on a Qualcomm MSM 8255 1GHz platform, and has HD 720p video recording, playback, upload, and mini-HDMI 720p display output.

A 5-megapixel auto-focus camera, Bluetooth 2.1 and 802.11 b/g/n wireless is designed to enable video-calling via an additional front facing camera.

The additional GPS/A-GPS functionality uses Google Certified Maps and Navigation.

The ViewPad 4 also features ViewScene UI which is designed to use GPS to adapt the home screen to the apps you may want to have better access to, such as social networking updates for your home location.

The ViewPad 10Pro tablet is a 10-inch commercial tablet PC with dual boot functionality, offering a quick switch capability between Windows 7 for business use and Google Android 2.2 for personal and social entertainment.

The Dual-boot mode allows users that are familiar with Windows to use Windows, and to access Windows-based applications, while giving them the option to begin using Android and to become more familiar with it.

The ViewPad 10Pro is one of the first tablets to have the Intel Oak Trail processor. This combined with support for flash 10.1 and a new interface provides an excellent navigation experience. It has a 1024x600 LED backlit capacitive multi-touch panel, is fully connected with 3G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth and has at least six hours of battery life.
