The deal, which includes the whole region of GCC and some parts of MENA, will give DVCOM distribution rights for Zenith's range of enterprise-targeted solutions for Telepresence.

The agreement will boost DVCOM's strong base in new technologies to extend its reach to complete data, voice and video convergence for SMB and enterprise sector. DVCOM will offer a complete range of services to its partners, including sales management, pre-sales, professional services, project management and certified training services, to ensure smooth delivery of Zenith products.

"DVCOM with this partnership will build a reputation on being one of the first value added distributors to introduce emerging and innovative telepresence technology to the region at a very cost effective pricing," said Sabu Thomas, VCM-Strategic Business Development Manager at DVCOM.

"This agreement with VU Telepresence extends the promise with complementary voice and data communications, filling a gap in our small, medium and enterprise (SME) business offering of end-to-end UC solutions. We can now offer our channel partners a complementary UC player, combining the strengths of our existing portfolio to extend their market share into new untapped sectors," Thomas added.

"As one of the largest players in the IT market, we are striving to expand our reach into new sectors within the Middle East," said Srikant Sreenivasan, COO, VU Telepresence. "DVCOM with its expertise in the SOHO/SMB sector and its background in data and audio communications solutions is the right partner to extend our presence for telepresence to SMB and enterprise sectors across the region. This new contract further strengthens our long-standing commitment to the growth of the communications infrastructure in the region."
