Network infrastructure specialist Allied Telesis is set to launch its Star Partner Program in the Middle East.

The program will launch at the end of January, as part of Allied Telesis's three year expansion plans for the region. Allied Telesis is targeting key verticals such as healthcare, education, utilities and public sector, with its range of secure IP/Ethernet switching solutions and IP Triple Play networks.

The Star Partner Program offers resellers and systems integrators access to information on Allied Telesis solutions, along with customized campaigns and solution programs to fit business needs, including business and technical collateral, project assistance and technical support for project business. Partners can also access free online training through webinars and adventure-based learning, and exclusive access to the Allied Telesis Partner Portal.

Francesco Stramezzi, vice president of Channel Sales, Allied Telesis said: "We believe that success is built on relationships, and relationships are built on trust. We are continuously adding new technology solutions to our portfolio to meet the growing demands of customers in all areas and specifically IP surveillance, healthcare, and education, therefore helping initiate new revenue streams for partners and capture larger market share.

"By offering value added solutions and tools during the sales process through our Star Partner Program, we can drive the revenue-generating practices of our partners in the UAE. This program provides the ideal communications vehicle to our channel, providing all the ingredients for success in business and it is driven by our commitment to ensure that our customers have access to world-class solutions and support services," he added.

"Through this program our channel partners will find doing business with us very rewarding. We will be able to drive more value business to the doorsteps of those partners that are willing to invest some energy into growing with Allied Telesis. It is also one of a number of measures put into place to meet our partners' constant needs for support when it comes to identifying business opportunities and generating leads - and consequently increasing their revenue while the economy is still heading for an upturn," said Sabbahuddin Khan, regional manager - Middle East, Allied Telesis.
