Huawei Technologies KSA, has signed an agreement with Bravo, to deploy its Business Support System (BSS) solutions to increase Bravo's overall operational infrastructure efficiency. Public Telecommunications Company's (PTC) Bravo is a telecom services provider specialising in wireless communication solutions for the enterprise and government sectors in the Kingdom.

Sheng Kai, CEO of Huawei Technologies Investment Saudi Arabia Company, said that the agreement stresses Huawei's interest in serving the needs of the Saudi telecom industry.

Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al-Ageel, CEO of Bravo, said: "Our commitment to customers, in private and public sectors, drive us to constantly revolutionize."

The BSS solution is to eliminate the limitations of Bravo's legacy billing system that will enable the company to reduce the overall cost and improve business efficiency. Under the agreement, the project is to be implemented over 2011.

Bravo operates under a Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) license from the Saudi Telecommunications Company (STC). Bravo was established in Riyadh in 2001 and launched its services in the Kingdom during mid 2005 as the sole licensed provider of instant, group wireless communication services and solutions using iDEN technology (Integrated Digital Enhanced Network) developed by Motorola.
