The Abu Dhabi University (ADU) Innovation and Entrepreneurship Centre is to host its first Cisco entrepreneurship training course starting tomorrow.

The ‘Starting a Business' course aims to give would-be entrepreneurs practical training in the skills of how to start and run a business. The course includes various elements such as choosing the right type of business, an understanding of legal requirements, accounting, management, and marketing, and how to use a business plan to pull all of these elements together. The course has been tailored to be relevant to Abu Dhabi, and the University will also have contributions from local guest speakers.

The Cisco Entrepreneur Institute program was developed to foster entrepreneurship for economic and social prosperity. ADU Enterprise became an accredited trainer and course provider of Cisco Entrepreneur Institute in August 2010

The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Centre was formed to develop entrepreneurship, start-ups and SMEs, to help realize the Abu Dhabi Economic Vision 2030.
