Royal Jordanian signs SITA Airfare Insight The airfare solution can give operators an edge over their competition, says El Assaad.

Airline Royal Jordanian has signed up to migrate to SITA's Airfare Insight fare pricing platform.

In a five-year deal, Royal Jordanian will switch to the SITA solution, to help it handle end-to-end fares management and distribution processes across the entire sales network. The platform automates the process of publishing airfares and posting updates to the distribution network of GDSs, travel agencies and websites.

Hussein Dabbas, CEO, Royal Jordanian, said today: "SITA's Airfare Insight will make a significant contribution towards speeding up our business processes and allow us to make fully informed fare changes in response to competitors in real time. Royal Jordanian expects that this will increase our passenger yields by reducing time to market for key fares which will beat the competition.

"This innovative software tool will bring many other benefits to our business. Airfare Insight will eliminate paper records as all fare proposals can be reviewed online, filed and distributed electronically. It also allows direct feed of fares to websites and connectivity to revenue accounting and yield management."
