Epson has announced the launch of two low cost projects, the EB-X10 and EB-W10 compact video projectors, in the Middle East.

Khalil El-Dalu, general manager, Epson Middle East, said: "What makes this series unique is the superior lamp life of 5,000 hours and the level of functionality it offers, which is unprecedented in the market at this price range. We expect these projectors to generate substantial interest in the Middle East."

The range of projectors have Epson's 3LCD technology which enables the projectors to have a Colour Light Output (CLO) that is equally as high as the white light output, designed to enhance projection quality.

The EB-X10 and EB-W10 can handle High Definition input and are lightweight, weighing in at 2.3 kilogrammes. The projectors come with their own carry case, are enabled with a quick start and have automatic vertical keystone correction to prevent picture distortion.

A USB cable combines both display and mouse control fro PC and Mac or alternatively users can plug in a USB flash drive with their presentation and run it off that.
