Sage Software will be launching its first Arabic language add-on for Sage CRM, Sage Accpac and Sage X3, in partnership with software localisation experts LinguaNext, based in San Jose, California.

"Our partnership with LinguaNext to launch the first Arabic version of Sage CRM, Sage Accpac and Sage X3 underlines our commitment to the regional market by allowing our Arabic-speaking customers to acclimatise with the software faster, and in turn empowering them to solve business challenges promptly and efficiently," said Vikram Suri, Managing Director, Sage Software - Middle East.

The Arabisation software is an add-on to the existing international versions of the applications, which will benefit users, Sage says, by eliminating the need to throw away existing software due to a lack of support in the Arabic language , eliminat ing  code changes to applications; and meaning no additional updates are required. LinguaNext has also provided non-English speaking users localisation for Peachtree Quantum, Sage Software's business accounting application.

"Our LinguaNext add-ons for Sage products are based on the same Speed Suite technology, which facilitates the localisation of critical core banking system and helps clients in the banking sector power their expansion into markets where Arabic language is a must. This level of compatibility is the foundation of our partnership with Sage Software, and we are pleased to be working with them to offer their flagship offering in the Arabic language," said Atul Tulshibagwale, CEO, LinguaNext.

The Arabic language add-on is part of Sage Software Middle East's expansion strategy. The company is hoping to exponentially increase their 30% current market share in the region.

"We are proud to be undertaking this initiative, which we expect to have a major impact on our target to increase our current 30% share of the UAE market. LinguaNext's proven expertise makes them the perfect partner, and we are confident to witness success as a result of this endeavour," said Suri

Sage Software Middle East is working closely with LinguaNext to ensure its vendor-independent custom and off-the-shelf products and solutions are accurate and highly scalable.
