Samsung unleashes the 65 inch 3D LED TV Samsung has unveiled its biggest 3D LED TV. The 65 inch screen is currently the largest in the world.

Samsung has launched its new monster 65 inch 3D LED TV, currently the biggest 3D LED TV in the world. The TV also acts as a a full HD 1080p 2D unit.

The C8000 series has an 8,000,000:1 contrast ratio, has Real 240Hz technology built-in and uses Samsung's 3D HyperReal Engine to deliver picture quality and depth.

The TV uses Samsung's Ultra Clear panel, Precision Dimming Technology for improved black point accuracy and motion clarity of 800 CMR.

Samsung's 8000 series has internet@TV, ConnectShare and All Share features so users can stay up-to-date with their social networking and the world around them by connecting to the internet through the TV. The TV is also WiFi ready.

Using the AllShare feature, users can create a wireless network between their Samsung compatible devices such as mobile phones, notebooks or digital cameras. This allows users to view or share their data. By plugging in a USB, users can watch movies, listen to music or view photos using the ConnectShare system.

The 8000 series is made from eco-friendly materials and exceeds EnergyStar® 4.0 guidelines.    The TV weighs in at 36 kilograms, is 2.2 centimetres thick and retails for $5,999.99 on the Samsung website.
