Canon Middle East has launched its first laser printer with in-built Arabic driver software.

The i-SENSYS LBP6000, is a compact, entry-level black and white laser printer designed for the growing SME segment in the Middle East.

"Listening to our clients, we knew that there was a real demand for a more resource-friendly Arabic print driver for the region. Taking this into consideration, we have developed a powerful print driver that will bring real benefit to Canon's growing corporate clients," said Bittu Mattam, product manager, Canon Middle East.

According to Canon, the printer is designed to operate quietly in sleep mode and provide rapid print outs, saving the user time. The i-SENSYS LBP6000 prints at 2,400 x 600 dpi print quality and can print at 18 pages per minute. The printer also features the All-In-One print cartridge, which is designed to be maintenance free.

"The compact design and small footprint of the i-SENSYS LBP6000 allows it to fit perfectly into any small or home office working environment. Canon's i-SENSYS laser technology is ideal for users who require professional looking documents and clear images, quickly and frequently. The two devices will suit users that require consistency, speed and quality from their black and white laser printer," added Mattam

The i-SENSYS LBP6000 is now available in electronics stores across the MENA region.
