HP is teaching children how to become computer whizzes at their new interactive software experience at the KidZania edutainment centre in Dubai Mall.

Using HP Create, children can choose a character that they want to be, whether it is a fashion designer or a pilot, and use the currency they earn, called KidZos to build themselves their ideal computer.

"At HP, we're committed to providing our youth with fun and educational experiences," said Salim Ziad, General Manager HP Personal Systems Group Middle East.  "As the IT Marketing Partner at KidZania, our mission is to introduce children to technology in a hands-on and creative environment, where they are challenged to use their imagination to create innovation.  These are the qualities we practice everyday in our labs at HP."

Children are guided through a step-by-step process of how to create and build the perfect computer and learn what components are required.

The children can choose components such as form; mini, tablet, pad or standard, Screen; touch or non-touch, screen size, disk capacity, graphics card, colour and patters and additional elements and accessories.

"The introduction of the HP establishment, which promotes advanced technologies in information and communication technology and encourage learning of computer know-how in kids, adds more value to our young visitors. The HP activity in Dubai is the first of its kind among all KidZania's around the world and was specifically created for KidZania Dubai, and HP played an instrumental role in its development. We are committed to offering fresh experiences for our young visitors by continuously introducing new establishments, professions, and activities in KidZania," said Will Edwards, Governor, KidZania.

Sticking to the edutainment theme, the HP Create experience not only teaches children about computers, but gives them an idea about money management, as they have to spend their earned KidZos wisely.
