One of Germany's leading IT security firms, G Data Software AG, has signed a distribution agreement with Golden Systems Middle East, which will ensure the distribution of its software solutions across the Middle East and North Africa.

"The Middle East is a very important region for G Data.  We are looking forward to increasing our market reach and business in the end-user market segment in this region. The Middle East and especially the Gulf region has huge potential for growth of the security solutions market and hence we are concentrating on expanding our presence in this region," said Dr Dirk Hochstrate, Managing Director of G Data Software AG.

Founded in 1985, G Data's security solutions are currently available in more than 60 countries worldwide and its product range includes software for single users as well as medium and large businesses.  The company first created virus protection software over 20 years ago and is celebrating its 25th birthday this year.
