Secureway says that its recent vendor deals with Vasco, Ipanema and Imprevata have allowed it to achieve its goal of offering its reseller partners access to a complete set of security solutions.

The company is exhibiting with many of the largest security brands in the Middle East including Fortinet and F5.

The company has been pleasantly surprised at the number of visitors after what was a quiet year due to the global economic downturn.

“Monday was a bit of a shock to be honest,” says Fari Boustantchi, CEO of Secureway.

“Normally it’s quite quiet – at least compared to the last couple of days of GITEX TECHNOLOGY WEEK – but this year it was incredible. I think it’s fair to say the recession is looking like it is behind us.

“It wasn’t just numbers; the quality of those people visiting our stand has been of the highest quality. We’ve managed to attract a lot of interest not just from possible reseller partners, but also a lot of enterprises that are looking to buy our solutions,” he continues. “We don’t subscribe to the idea of recruiting as many reseller partners as possible and then getting them to sell the products on the basis of numbers.”

“It’s a philosophy a lot of our vendor partners also share. We feel it’s much better to tightly focus our resellers on the best of breed solutions.

“Vasco, Ipanema and Imprevata are key examples of this,” continues Boustantchi. “They are companies that demonstrate the highest quality products and services in their respective areas.”
